THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS : Pride Art Show
Beyond labels, queer identity and experience ripple through the political, the spiritual, and the deeply personal, constantly transforming our understanding of self and the world. Through The Looking Glass is an exhibit featuring queer artists and work that represents these multifaceted dimensions of the queer experience.
The exhibit will run from June 17th - June 29th with an opening reception on Saturday June 21st from 5-9 pm. Queer artists of all mediums and skill levels (self taught, emerging, students, and professional artists) are eligible to submit 1-2 works of art. This show aims to represent as many perspectives of the queer experience as possible. Due to space constraints, not all submissions may be featured but each selection will echo the theme of the show.
Submission deadline is Saturday May 31st at 10 pm
Artists will be notified of their participation and sent more thorough exhibition details on June 1st.
